This video explores one family’s interaction as they figure out life support and end- of-life decisions regarding a loved one. The family is torn apart become no one knew what the patient wanted. The video explains how advance directives can eliminate this pain and confusion, as a “gift to your family.” The presenter states that the time to establish advance directives is when you are healthy and competent, not when you are being wheeled into the ER.
