Caregiver Training Videos

Caregiver Stress

A caregiver of a patient with Alzheimer’s is defined as someone who provides care four hours a day, five days a week, for six months in a row. In this video, the presenter surmises that most caregivers spend much more time than this providing care. As a result, they can be susceptible to a multitude of emotions, including caregiver stress. Starting with the definition of stress, this video describes its causes and symptoms and answers the question, “What do I do to get rid of caregiver stress?”
